Dear Mr. Neeleman,
I have heard of JetBlue before, but it wasn't until I talked with
a friend who told me about the company that I learned about their
unusual CEO. I read more stories how you served your customers on
a flight or pitched in with the baggage crew. You actually talk
to the customer, and make them feel like their input can make a
difference. I am now consumed with JetBlue and its unusual and fresh
approach to customer service. I read about a delayed flight where
you served pizza to the passengers. I read about a pilot who offered
his cell phone to customers when a flight was delayed. It is obvious
that you have employees who are influenced by you, that love to
work for you. Your level of interest in your customers is wonderfully
adopted within your employees. It is this type of company with friendly
helpful happy employees, this type of leadership, that I want to
work for. I would love to work for JetBlue.
It would be a dream for me if I could be your Leadership
Curriculum Developer. I am so excited about this position. I would
love to develop lifelong learning programs for JetBlue. I would
love to create/improve a program that will help improve people.
I am confident, as you review my history, that you will find that
I understand how people learn and that I have a strong desire to
improve JetBlue. Please look around this web site, you will find
information on me and, hopefully, realize that I have what it takes
to be a JetBlue employee.
Sincerely,
Dan C. Dyer
